Inclusive Bangladesh’s LGBT+ Emergency Fund provides short-term emergency financial support to Bangladeshi LGBTIQ+ people facing urgent crisis situations. Community members can request support ranging from BDT 500 to a maximum of BDT 5,000, depending on the nature of the emergency, verification, and availability of funds.

Every year, Inclusive Bangladesh receives around 56 emergency fund requests on average, which is approximately five applications per month or one application per week. Many of these requests come from grassroots-level LGBTIQ+ community members, especially from rural areas, who face urgent challenges such as family violence, forced relocation, emergency medical costs, continuation of education and tuition fees, house rent, short-term living costs due to loss of income, and other crisis situations.

While Inclusive Bangladesh aims to stand beside every LGBTIQ+ person in need, the fund remains limited. As a result, support can only be provided for selected emergency cases based on urgency, verification, and available resources. 

On average, Inclusive Bangladesh distributes around BDT 150,000 each calendar year through this emergency support initiative.

All applications are reviewed with confidentiality, dignity, and care. Requests are processed within 72 hours, and approved funds are transferred within the same period after successful verification.

ইনক্লুসিভ বাংলাদেশের এলজিবিটি+ জরুরি সহায়তা তহবিল বাংলাদেশি এলজিবিটিআইকিউ+ মানুষের জরুরি সংকটকালীন সময়ে স্বল্পমেয়াদি আর্থিক সহায়তা প্রদান করে। কমিউনিটির সদস্যরা জরুরি প্রয়োজনের ভিত্তিতে ৫০০ টাকা থেকে সর্বোচ্চ ৫,০০০ টাকাপর্যন্ত সহায়তার জন্য আবেদন করতে পারেন। সহায়তার পরিমাণ নির্ভর করে জরুরি পরিস্থিতির ধরন, যাচাই এবং তহবিলের প্রাপ্যতার ওপর।

প্রতি বছর ইনক্লুসিভ বাংলাদেশ গড়ে প্রায় ৫৬টি জরুরি সহায়তার আবেদন পায়, যা মাসে প্রায় পাঁচটি আবেদন অথবা সপ্তাহে প্রায় একটি আবেদনের সমান। এসব সহায়তার অনুরোধের বড় একটি অংশ আসে তৃণমূল পর্যায়ের এলজিবিটিআইকিউ+ কমিউনিটির সদস্যদের কাছ থেকে, বিশেষ করে গ্রামীণ এলাকার মানুষদের কাছ থেকে। তারা পরিবারিক সহিংসতা, জোরপূর্বক স্থানান্তর, জরুরি চিকিৎসা খরচ, শিক্ষা চালিয়ে যাওয়ার খরচ ও টিউশন ফি, বাড়ি ভাড়া, আয় হারানোর কারণে স্বল্পমেয়াদি জীবনযাপনের খরচসহ নানা সংকটের মুখোমুখি হন।

ইনক্লুসিভ বাংলাদেশ প্রয়োজনের সময় প্রতিটি এলজিবিটিআইকিউ+ মানুষের পাশে দাঁড়াতে চাইলেও, এই তহবিল সীমিত। তাই জরুরি প্রয়োজন, যাচাই এবং তহবিলের প্রাপ্যতার ভিত্তিতে নির্বাচিত কিছু জরুরি ক্ষেত্রে সহায়তা প্রদান করা সম্ভব হয়। প্রতি বছর এই উদ্যোগের মাধ্যমে ইনক্লুসিভ বাংলাদেশ গড়ে প্রায় ১,৫০,০০০ টাকা বিতরণ করে।

প্রতিটি আবেদন গোপনীয়তা, মর্যাদা এবং যত্নের সঙ্গে পর্যালোচনা করা হয়। আবেদনগুলো ৭২ ঘণ্টার মধ্যে প্রক্রিয়াজাত করা হয় এবং সফল যাচাইয়ের পর অনুমোদিত সহায়তা একই সময়ের মধ্যে পাঠানো হয়।
